Does this mean he's not ready ?
« on: April 03, 2010, 06:29:41 am »
Hi

Tyler is 18 weeks tomorrow, and I have been transferring him onto 4 hour EASY as he was 3, he can stay awake for 2 hours and can go 4 hours between bottles.  The problem is that since he's been on 4 hour EASY he's been waking up alot more at night for food, last night for example he was up at 1,4,6 and then 7 for the day.  Where as on 3 hour he just fed at 11 and then 4.  Do you think this means that he should stay on 3 hour for the time being ?

Thanks

Sarah

I'm just going to pop you over to the EASY board, as this feels more like a routine issue than a sleep issue.  You'll get some great advice from other mums who have btdt.  Good luck!

Hi  :) can you post your routine in EAS format please so we can see?

A lot of babies go a bit wonky in terms of night feeds after the 16 week GS - I wonder if that is what has happened.

It does sound as though you would be best to stay on the 4hrly EASY though - but lets look at the routine first  :)
