stupid question - how to post a photo?

Sorry for the dumb question - I'm sure the answer is out here somewhere, but with the search function down I can't find it!  How do I post a picture into the photo gallery?  I see there is a button, and when you push it you get (img) (/img), but how do I get my picture in there?

Hit reply and post message.  You will see in the bottom left handside outside of text box; Additional Options.  Click that and go from there.
