Need some help for the next nap after 1hr 10 min first nap

Hi, my DD has woken again after about 1hr 10 mins nap. She had started having a 1hr 45 minute nap in the morning but the last few days she's been waking early from this nap.

Today I thought she went to sleep later than usual as she had hiccups when I put her down. Her A time ended up being 1hr 56, when normally 1hr 45 to 1hr 50 is what I was working on.

I thought with a 1hr 10 nap, LOs can go for the same A time. Yesterday I might have gotten her down a tad late but she only slept for 35 minutes. I got her back off with a hairdryer blowing but it messed up the rest of the day.

I'm desperate not to have another OT day and night (she was up at 1am, 3am, 5am and 7am), so if anyone reads this in time and could suggest an A time for her. She doesn't seem OT after this 1hr 10 nap but just not sure if she'll last 1hr 50 but don't want to risk her waking early after the next nap. Oh, it's complicated, especially when they're spirited!! I actually think she may be ready for 2h A time.  A 1h10 nap sounds UT to me, as does 1h45 to be honest.  2 hours is pretty average for her age group. 

Give that a try and see what happens!

Thanks Becky. DD for ages had typically under average A times. It took me ages to get her up to 1hr 40 but I think suddenly she is ready for a 2 hr A time. Having said that, I've tried it for the last few days and she's now only napping for 45 minutes. After first 45 min nap, I then tried A time of 1hr 45 and again a 45 min nap. I wasn't sure if she was OT or UT after the second nap today so I tried rocking her to see if she was tired. I don't want to get in the habit of rocking but I wanted to see if she was tired or if she'd resist. She did fall back to sleep and slept for another hour. Am going to keep trying with the 2 hour A time and hope the long naps come back. I read on the thread about routines for 3-6 months that some LOs do 2 x 1.5 hour naps, plus a 45 minute cat nap, where as others do 2 x 2hr naps. I think DD would probably end up doing the 2 x 1.5 hour naps. Just can't see her doing 2 hour naps but I can live in hope..
