Just not sucking really.

How do you get a 10 month old to actually feed. I did a similar post before but wondered if there are any suggestions. The worst seems to be bedtime feeds. She goes on we have about 2 mins of sucking and then she uses me as a dummy. I do the other side and same thing. It just goes on and on and has become a bit of a game really. She doesn't really take a bottle so I can't get milk into her in any other way. Surely she can't be weaning already. Oh, and for the life of me I can't do breast compressions. I ahve tried and tried but to no avail :-\ So any other suggestions?

dark room always helps me.....both Emma and Oscar went thro this...Oz at 8 mths and Emma around 10 or 11 (can't remember).
With Em, when things were really bad I just popped her back on after she fell asleep...she's always been a great direct from the breast dream feeder so no issues there....
