The only things I make sure I do are the floors, laundry, and keep the kitchen clean. Laundry and kitchen are obvious...if I didn't do dishes, we'd have nothing to eat from! Floors are a concern at our house because half of them are hardwood and we have pets. So it's like a happy habitat for feral dustbunnies. If I don't want to constantly be pulling dustbunnies out of her mouth, I have to sweep every other day. During her naps I make sure I work out, and I make her clothes, diapers, and do mending, and take sewing work for other people for a little extra money.
After reading these posts, I've changed a little bit what we do during our play time. Now we play with her nesting/stacking toys, and I tell her "the pink one is a round shape" and "the round one is a pink color" to help her with those concepts. She seems to listen with interest, so that's cool. We also do a lot of "roll on or climb up mommy" games. That's why I work out. :-)
