How is it going? Any luck?

I have tried 20 min, no success yet either. Camping was ok, campground way too full which I hate and it was super loud too. But it was nice being outside again. Hayden got really tired though with 3 days of only 1 nap. Tomorrow will be back to 2 to catch some snooze.

I had to wake him this morning at 7.05 to get him ready before I left for work but he had 2 10-15min NW so could be better but getting there. Hope he will start STTN again soon i really liked it when he did. The interesting thing is he had more sleep yesterday than in a long while yet slept the most overnight which makes me wonder if I am helping cutting naps?

That's great, hope it stays that way. Would make sense if cutting the naps helps, if he gets too much sleep during the day he wount be tired enough to stay asleep for the whole night.

But what I meant was the opposite he slept better after lots of day sleep???
This morning we were up 5.30 so quite short lived anyway. I am back at work now so not able to police the naps as much so it is getting difficult. I think maybe he was just taking more sleep because he was teething that day and now he is back to his usual EW.
How are you getting on?

We were gone for a couple days again, had to escape the construction on our roof. Naps were really horrible when we were gone, but at home the 45 min AM nap, long PM nap still works, except that he still wakes around 45-50min for his PM nap and that I have to do pd.

Sorry to hear that you are back to EW, I really have no ideas anymore. Have you told your story in the EW support thread? Haven't checked it out yet but maybe some have more ideas. It must be so tiring for you. Has it gone better for you to put him down for sleeping times or does he still cry so hard?

He is a star at going down now which is one of the main thigs that was bothering me to see him so upset. He barely mkes a peep now. Even now when I am at work he is good for my mum and his dad. He has been varible with anything from 7am to 5.15 this morning. To be honest he sleeps later consistently when he has two long naps now so we may be causing OT with nap cutting. Also my mum and DH are not good ast timing the naps so either I don't know what he gets or he gets 10mins extra here and there but these are the days he lays in the following day so who knows. I am just going with his cues a little and making sure he doesn't sleep too late in the afternoon at the moment.

Hey, I am always so late now in replying. I need to get some stuff organized for my school and it just doesn't seem to leave much time anymore. Ah well...

Great to hear that Khalam is going down so well again for sleeps, I betcha he had something that was troubling him. I really hope you can get the EWs sorted out soon. How is the pregnancy going, I hope all is well cause you removed your ticker.

It's funny how things change. Now that your LO is better for falling asleep again, Hayden has tons of problems. He screams pretty hard sometimes, and I can't put him down after he wakes early from naps anymore because he is resisting my patting and just gets really wind up. Also when we do one nap his nap is too short (he doesn't make it over 1.5hrs, mostly 1.25hrs) so that he gets way OT. I think it has something to do with our night feeding prop but am not sure. I hope we get the naps sorted out soon cause I need to try to fix the nights again and want him to sleep well, especially since he is going to daycare now.

K is doing well. going down ok for most naps and BT and even had a few lay ins this last week, but kee waiting for it all to go wrong again.

Unfortunately the pg didn't work out past week 7 so am back trying to conceive. But thanks for asking.

Maybe daycare is new for H and unsettling. have you started a new thread with his nap issues as I bet no one will look at it here asit is so long and as you can see I am not getting it right with my son who I know so don't know how much help I will be.

Oh, that is so sad with your pregnancy. I hope you're coping well and it will all work out better next time.

He just started daycare today and we are doing gradual entrance, so it will take a bit until he is fully in. I haven't started a new thread because I think I know what's wrong (my prop issue) and I will have to wait and see how it goes in daycare. But thanks for reminding me, I agree, this thread got really long. ;)
