6AM Starts I think to early am I asking too much?
« on: August 12, 2010, 07:18:21 am »
For the last 3 months my lo starts her mornings from 5.45/6.15am she used to sleep in till 7.30 but when the light morning started and I dropped dream feed she started getting up early. I am not sure if I am expecting to much from her and should just taken the early starts as one of those things.

i guess it depends what time she is going to bed and how long she is sleeping at night.Like if she is in bed for 7pm and wakes at 6am thats a good 11 hr night so yes i would say 6am is perfectly acceptable.

could you tweak things a bit to help push her day a bit? what does her day look like?

Well with 2 older brothers and all the things they do its hard to stick to a routine  :-[ :-[, she is still having 2 sleeps so naps for 2/3 hours a day and is in bed between7 to 7.30 at night. She is a good girl and sleeps well at night so part of me things I have it lucky, but at 5.45am I am like I want more lol  ;)

Totally know the feeling. You mentioned the lighter mornings, have you tried blacking out her windows?
