Waking up at night time

I have 6months old son and he keeps waking up at night time around 2-3 am...before i always gave him bottle but last night i gave him breast for 10min and he fall a sleep on his own and woke up at 5am.i gave him bottle but he drank only 40ml.i just dont know what to do,if i have to give him milk or just water or nothing.....can you help me please...any advice???...thank you

Hi there,
If he drinks a full bottle/feed then it is hunger and you need to up the calories during the day. Have you started solids? You might need to do that if not. Your LO should not need water if he getting enough milk. Be careful feeding when waking at it will become a habit! Do you use a dummy? That could be another option to aid sleep. Or you could do PU/PD.
I recommend giving more milk/food during the day and not feeding at night.
