Hi there, hoping someone may have some quick advice for my 7month old. Unfortunately our day started at 4:45am today (DS slept 10hrs but could not get him back to sleep) so his naps were earlier than planned. Should I bring back the catnap or should I put him to bed really early?

WU: 4:45am
E: 6:45am, Solids 8:15am
S: 9am - 10am
A: 10am to 1:20pm
S:1:20pm to 2:45pm
E:3:15pm, planning to do solids at 5:30pm

Since he woke at 2:45pm and he really shouldnt have longer activity time them3.5hrs.

We have been having lots of NW's but not technically EW's except for today since he has been sleeping 10.5-11hrs. Of course he is going through teething, trying to crawl etc. So he is one frustrated little monkey!

Let me know if anyone has any advice.

Carrie

I would do a catnap to last you as close to normal bedtime as possible - otherwise, you will probably get another EW and there goes the cycle! That's just me though.

Thanks so much Jessica. Well we actually put him down for an earlier bedtime and for the first time in awhile he slept 12hrs! I couldnt beleive it. Even yesterday he had fantastic naps. Unfortunately though he didnt sleep well last night but that was because we were travelling and he woke up in his car seat. Oh well, we will try again today!
