I agree with Katie and start there. If that's not enough go to 20 minute AM nap but maybe then only 2.5 before PM nap. And if he'll take the AM nap earlier/sooner even better - like maybe closer to 3 hours A?

You think a shaving 5 min off the am nap and adding 5 min to the middle A is going to make a big enough difference?

It might, but it might not.  Like Karen said, it's a start.  If it doesn't work, you can go down to 20 min, but give 30 a few days to a week first.  It was pretty surprising to me the difference that 5 min of sleep could make in that short am nap.

The best laid plans...  E did 12.5 hours last night and woke with more than sniffles - he's downright miserable, nose running a mile a minute.  And then he fell this morning and busted his lip.  So needless to say, I'm not tweaking today.  He fell asleep at the 4 hour mark and has been sleeping soundly for nearly 2 hours.  I think he needs it, so I'm letting him sleep.  Will have to get him better before tweaking again, I guess...

Poor guy!  Yep, let him sleep whenever he needs it to get better!
