I am trying to resettle my LO when he wakes by stroking his forehead and holding his legs down firmly. Works about half the time and we are in week 2. Hopefully next week will be even better. My LO is 4 months. Hope that helps!

I'm not sure if I'm a good example but we are still giving a catnap and my lo is 8 months old. I though it would have gone by now. Things have gone a bit wonky recently so I think I need to rejig things. However she is sttn and having 2 naps and a CN. I have early waking and 40 min nap monster this week so it's all change!!

Good luck with things.

Agreeing with the thread Sarah posted :)  And I highly suggest going by A times rather than age.  We dropped the catnap around 6.5-7 months, but only when DS was able to do 2h50-3h A times.
