Unequal breasts

I have a slightly odd concern. I am exclusively breastfeeding. My breasts appear to fill up unequally with the right one always bigger and more tense and filled up. When DS is fed from right side he finishes the feed on one side only, but when fed from the left side, he also takes additional feed from right side at the end. Will this cause the right side to further fill up more? I often prefer to offer the right breast as well since it relieves the engorged feeling as I am unable to pump due to health reasons. Will the unequal feeling settle once I stop breastfeeding or am I going to have unequal breasts forever?

my left breast always seemed fuller than my right - but it was most noticeable only in the beginning.  After a few months, things settled in and even though it still sometimes felt fuller, it wasn't as big of a difference.  Most women (even when not bfing) have a difference in their breasts, and I guess that just is more apparent when we bf.  How long have you been bfing?

Yep, same here - my right side has always produced more than my left. When I returned to work and pumped, I would get 2oz off my right for every 1 on my left! But like Michelle, it wasn't noticeable or uncomfortable after the first few months.

I have been breastfeeding for 7 weeks now but breastfed my older boy as well, I do not remember the difference being that prominent the last time, hence the concern

I also have one breast that produces more. As it is still early on for you you could try to encourage the one producing less to make more by putting the baby onto that one first more often, say 2 out of 3 feedings. I was adviced to put DD2 on my left (the les producing breast) first at every feed for 2 days. This was at 9 weeks.
That said I agree that it is most noticeable in thefirst few months as after that the breasts make most of the milk on demand while baby is sucking, so there's not as much stored, hence no engorgement :)
