Hi

I am new to this board and am so thankful I found it as I hope someone can tell me what I am doing wrong. I am absolutely exhausted and not giving him 100% during the day as I can barely keep my eyes open.

A little about my boy
He is 18 weeks old and falls in the Spirited category with the occasional Textbook tendencies.
He used to sleep 7 - 11 - 2 - 7
Is teething (a bottom tooth has shown signs of popping through then disappeared and now the same on the top)
Is breastfed
Sleeps in a cot bed in our room
I use the Ssshhh Pat method but during the night if he is screaming himself sick I pick up and sooth as he wakes the whole house up and the neighbors.

Hey there hun, and welcome to the boards:)

How long have you been trying EASY, looks like you've also read Tracy's books. At 18 weeks, I would really be aiming for something closed to a 4 hr EASY, so having feeds every 03.30~04.00 hrs, with an A time of around 01.45~02.00 hrs, as some of the A times above were relatively low.

As for those frequent NWs, they're probably due to OT at bedtime, so even if your lo can do 01.45~02.00 hrs of A during the day, the last A time would be no more than 01.30 hrs. The OT may be cause by several UT naps leading to OT by end of the day.

Here's a link about sample routines at this age, might give you ideas:
