Whats going on!???
« on: February 15, 2011, 14:08:44 pm »
My almost 12 week DD has started short naps with a real struggle to get to sleep in the 1st place! However has started sleeping thro the night from 6pm to 7am! Am I being awful wanting her to have at least 2 good naps a day too!

She used to have 2 x 2 hr naps and now it 2 x 30mins naps at most! What am I doing wrong!!!??? I cant settle her once she wakes either and feel frustrated that I dont have the 40mins to spend extending (have a 2 year old too!)

Just feel all the work we put into getting a great 3 hr easy has been a waste!!!!!! Argh!!! :-\

Hi there! No feeds from 6-7am and even when she wakes she will only have 150ml max! She is averaging about 130-140mls per feeds and does not seem hungry! Cannot get anymore into her!
Her A time is 1 hour at the mo, I always act on the 1st yawn if not before, funnily enough I extended it accidently this morning (DS wanted to 'help'make his brekkie) so she was on 1 hour A time, I then started a wind down that took 15-20mins, walking round in the quiet, singing twinkle twinkle and she was in her cot by 1.5 hr A time, she fussed for 15mins and fell asleep! Has been asleep now 50mins!

I have tried pushing her back and forth in her pushchair to AP to sleep, no luck, just crys and looks about wide eyed! Also tried holding and singing, still no joy! Have not tried the car seat yet but with a 2 year old it can be difficult!
