Thanks ladies. Just an update that the reflux seems to be under control. Naps are going *pretty* OK. We've had an off day here or there but those were days where I had unavoidable errands and a disruption to our normal routine so I think that's way.
By the way we've had her new toddler bed set up in her room for the past couple of months, wanting her to get used to it before transitioning her in before baby#2 is born this spring...and now she is asking to go in the bed at nap time. So I think that I'll see if I can get a good week of naps now that the cold is finally gone out of her, then transition to the new bed.
I know this can yet again cause havoc on sleep but at least I know she doesn't have a cold, and doesn't have reflux, and teething pain medication is under control, so we'll just see where it goes from there.
If it doesn't work then I can always wait a week and try again. That has been successful for us in the past.
I TOTALLY agree - hind sight is 20/20 with the reflux. I try to think of everything else it could be but looking back, that was it all along. Same thing happened before when she was first diagnosed. The thing is I went to her Doctor before and they were (I guess rightly so) hesitant to say reflux and hand out meds. So all this wait and see, and try this and that first, had to happen (and suffering for us both) before we got the prescription written. This time since I had 4 weeks of trial and error under my belt I was able to just get it but I could see that if I hadn't he would have been less willing to give it out to me.
Fingers crossed it all goes well from here. Thanks so much ladies!
