hi all,
it's been a while since i last posted, and now that i started facing early waking again, and my DD is wakng up chatting and happy and playing with her lovie so i leave her until she starts to cry, which is for around 30 minutes usually.
My DD is 7 months and 4 weeks now, and her daily routine goes something like this:
EW: 5 am (playing in crib until 5:30-5:45)
E: 5:45 am
7:15 am solids (cereal or oatmeal with fruits and sipping water)
S: 8:30 am - 10:30 am
E: 11:00 am (Bottle feed breast milk - 225 ml)
12:30 pm solids (vegetable purees and water or chamomile tea)
S: 1:20 pm - 3 pm
E: 3:30 pm (im gradually moving up her milk feeds to have three milk feeds instead of 4)
5:00 pm solids (vegetables - fruits and water)
Bathe at 6:45 pm
S: 7:30- 7:45 pm until 5:00 am
DF: 9:45pm (im weaning her off it by bringing it earlier every 3 days by 15 mins)
So her daytime naps after getting rid of the catnap is around 3 - 3.5 hours. Her bedtime routine is milk at 6 pm, bath, do bedtime ritual, and bed around 7:30 pm- 7:45 pm. She is exclusively breastfed. i nurse her twice (each feed with both sides) and i express twice daily and give her 225 ml per feed. Thank god, she is only waking up once which is around 8:30pm to 9:30 pm, which sometimes may or may not need my sh pat. Recently, the maximum time she was up was 5 - 10 minutes. i only go to her when she is fussing. when it is a mantra cry, i usually let her and she usually goes back to sleep alone.
Her usual A time is around 2.5 to 3 hours, and she uses her walker, sites on her mat and plays with her toys, we go out for a walk outside in the garden, watch a bit of tv, jumps in her exersaucer, so she usually gets really tired by nap time. the most recent developmental issue is her sitting up. teething, i am not really sure because it has always been an issue on my mind assuming she is teething, but actually it turns out she is a long way from it as per her pediatrician.
i am sorry for the long post, i am just answering the required questions in order to be clear. i really need to get rid of this early waking, and yet i dont know how. Oh, one last thing, her last A time before bed is very long, its around 4 hours! but she seems happy during that time, although i know she is very tired.
please advise.
Love, Amel
