Set naps

Quick question on set naps for anyone who may know the answer:  do they work better for babies of certain temperaments?

My DS is touchy & doesn't handle OT well AT ALL.  I'm considering trying set naps but I'm concerned that the routine change will be an utter nightmare if he gets OT!
