Hi everybody
maybe this post could be helpful for someone who, like me before, is not swaddling DC.
When DD was born I didn't know exactly what swaddling was, so I didn't do it. When I found out I thought it was too late since DD was then 4 months old.
Napping had always been a problem for her, but at that point naps began to get shorter and shorter... even 20 minutes. 3 weeks ago I was trapped in a OT hell. A good day was made by 3 or 4 30 minutes naps, all of them walking her in the stroller or baby carrier.
Then I went to visit my sister who has a 5 month boy: she had started swaddling DS a week before and had found great improvement.
In the last couple of weeks DD has been napping 1.5 hour, twice a day. Once she even slept 2.5 hours!
We still have problems with catnap (she's usually too cranky and goes mad if I try to put her down) and night sleep (NW and EW) but I feel like I partly got my life back!
