is there another leap at 9months
« on: May 16, 2011, 14:54:05 pm »
Alyssa is nine months today and she started to fight her am nap AGAIN. A is already 4hours and nights are averaging between 10-11hrs.  She will not go earlier for her am nap and I know is closer to the one nap then I think.
Wondering is there another GS/developmental leap at nine months?

wonder week 37 is a developmental leap - so she's just had that 2wks ago right?  DS is 38.5 wks old & only a few days younger than Alyssa.  The next one is at week 46.  I do believe there is a big growth spurt at 9months too - anybody correct me if I am wrong on this?

we are in the same boat...my daughter is 42 weeks...and has FOUR teeth coming in on top...she wakes several times a night with short naps...AND just got over being sick..so whatever progess i DID make has gone down the tubes.  I felt bad for her and thought maybe the growth spurt was making her wake at night out hunger...though she has NEVER slept through the night she WAS down to one waking before all this...so anyway i nurse her when she wakes cause I didn't want to torture when she was sick...teething or hungry from a growth spurt but doesn't that then cause a habbit of waking?  i totally don't know how to handle this one at all...feel like i've created a monster now...she screams in her crib and wakes constantly only calming and going back to sleep with nursing...blah...
