I'm having trouble with DD being restless and crying after NFs. She's 11wo, waking up slightly earlier than usual for her night feeds (1:45 am & 5:30 am as opposed to 2:30 am and 7 am), and she wakes up about 5-10 minutes after I put her back down after feeding. She used to be so sleepy that I could put her down without a pacifier. Now I have to go back in there, give her a pacifier, and sometimes she'll go back to sleep while other times she'll wake again. These last few days she hasn't slept well after the 5 am feed, and only goes about 2 hours (plus multiple crying outbursts this morning from 6 am onward) before waking up for the day. Oh, and she has an 11 pm DF, so she's barely going 3 hours between NFs while in the past she's done 5-6 hours for the first stretch of the night.
Is this possibly from a growth spurt? Pacifier addiction? Or maybe from a later bedtime? Her routine keeps landing where she needs a nap around 6 or 6:30 pm, and she won't accept that as BT. I got her to do about an hour CN last night at 6 pm and made BT around 8:15 or so. I haven't thought she was pacifier dependent since she'll spit it out to cry when she takes naps. However, she does seem to have trouble getting back to sleep if it's not in her mouth at the 40 min. mark.
