How long for A after short nap?

We have been on ALL short naps for the 3rd day in a row :(  I have tried to extend, but it hasn't worked with my toddler running around...impossible!!! 

My question is...how long should A be after a 40/45m nap?

There are so many Kara's here!  I have lived most of my life as the only one ;)

After a short nap, I generally cut 15-25 mins from the next A.. I just keep a very close watch on DD for cues :)
