I'm just getting DS on EASY and I've been reading all the boards on short naps. I've been able to extend his naps from 20 min to an hour, but I'm not sure I'm going to get more than an hour out of him. I typically pd/pu until the 1.5 hour mark and then give up.
Anyway, my problem is that I don't know what to do after midafternoon - cutting morning A time down to 1.5 hours has helped extend his am nap, but then he's ready for his pm nap after 2 hours. With even 1.5 hour naps, we still end up with a really long afternoon, but if I do CN at 4pm, he'll be ready for bedtime by 6 which seems too early.
Ok, here's how it's going
7 - wake up/eat
8:30 - am nap
10 - wake up/eat
12 - nap
1:30 - wake up/eat
4 - getting cranky - CN?(which rarely goes more than 20 min)
I typically put him down for bedtime around 6:45/7 and he does pretty well through the night. We get some wake ups, but nothing terrible.
So how do I deal with such a long time between pm nap and bedtime - it's like 5 hours! (and i can't seem to find a way to get a full 45 min cn)
