Adjusting A time after bad naps
« on: August 28, 2011, 18:10:18 pm »
DD2 (18wks) goes down for a nap really nicely after around 1hr 50mins, but unfortunately will only nap for 45mins.

So I've been working on extending her A time to see if that will help, but I think I've got confused after reading about adjusting the A time (by 20-30 mins) following a poor nap.

If she's currently settling herself nicely (after a 45 m nap) after an A time of 1hr 50, does that suggest that her proper A time (after a full 1.5hr nap) should be more like 2hr 10 - 2hr 20?

Did that make sense?  I'd really like to make her day more EASY than the current EASASY as I'm hoping it will help improve her nighttime sleep too.

Hi Bessie,
Have a look at these links to help with extending those 45min naps. They are common at this age so hang in there.
