Ugh - I have found that once those teeth get to that big bulging stage - meds don't really do much at all.  I find that Orajel actually does more for DD at that point... numbs her long enough to let her fall asleep and then she is fine for a few hours - then we repeat the whole process!  Luckily, it's usually only a couple of days time!

She cried out again at 1 hr 30 mins :(  If only she would have listened to her momma and gone down at 11.30 not 11.50 ;)  Stupid 10 min car CN!

Update-I tried a 2.5 hr A and she just screamed when I layed her down. I gave her 10 mins and then put her in the car. After 20 mins, she still wasn't out so I returned home cause I had someone coming over.
How come I get the child that ISN'T sleepy when she's teething?
Seriously, 30 mins for 3 days now. ::)

Nope. But she sure is unhappy off and on. When I went to change her after coming back from the car ride, her mouth literally went upside down in a frown/start of a cry, b/c she thought I was going to put her down again. It would be cute if I didn't feel so bad for her.

I think bt is going to be 6 tonight and maybe some meds only to help with her nursing cause she is sure fighting it these past few days.

Good plan smurfette...I suggest an 11:30 nap tomorrow again. Have faith in the process. I know it's hard.

Fingers crossed Melissa!

Smurfette - there is a sleep regression around 13 months :)  Apparently, babies start to resist naps completely - it's a doozy!
