When to start using a pillow
« on: October 21, 2011, 23:54:45 pm »
I know that this is a pretty mundane question, but I was wondering when to give my 19month old a pillow.  We are going to be moving him into a toddler bed this weekend and I was wondering if we should give him a pillow.  If so, what sort of pillow should I give him?

Hiya!  I think in UK they say you can use them from a year.  Amy went into toddler bed at 18 months and used one fine at that age.  We just got her a small flat one!

Just tagging along to see what kind of advice you get!  DS is 22 months and in a toddler bed, but he still does not use a pillow.  However, I have noticed him lying his head on his teddy bear sometimes lately.  So, I am now wondering if he would like a pillow.  What kind do you guys recommend?

I gave DD1 a pillow at one but she never used it. To this day, she still doesn't use her pillow. ::)  She just lays on her mattress. The pillow I got was from Ikea. It was a toddler pillow.
