I realize this is somewhat of a gross topic, but we've all seen it!
So, my beautiful 5.5 month old baby girl was an angel baby until she hit 4 months. She was on a great 3 hour EASY, slept from 10:30 df till 7:30 (since 7 weeks!) and took three naps, just perfectly. 4 month growth spurt was killer. Then we did some traveling. Now she's teething off and on and is finally getting better from a 2 week super stuffy/runny nose. Needless to say, she's been a bit off.
On top of that, probably the past month she's been pooping in the middle of the night. She's always been able to put herself back to sleep, but now with these poops, I never can tell if she just is mantra crying or actually needs a change. So, sometimes I wait, and she'll go back to sleep, but then, is up again an hour later, and I'll go in and sure enough, she's pooped. Who knows, that's what could have woken her up the hour earlier, and had I gone in and changed her then, maybe she wouldn't have woken up again... ah, decisions! She was going back to sleep okay, with a little bit of help, after her change, but the past few nights have been just terrible. She's refused to go back down. We've wondered if it's also teeth, and her stuffy nose, so my husband rocked her to sleep a couple nights... alas... now we're trying to do PU/PD, which has worked, but last night I fed her back to sleep. but I just wonder if there's any way to feed her differently so that she doesn't poop at night! It's not like it's always at the same time either- anywhere from 2am to 5am.
Anyway, I still try to stick to an EASY during the day, which attempts to look like:
Feed at 7, 11, 2, 5, 7:30 to sleep and then a 10 or 10:30 df.
Sleep at 9:30, 1 and 4:30. Though- that last nap is harder and harder to get her to go down for- I've posted in changing from 3-2 hour naps...
Advice would be appreciated
