DD has just turned 2, and has started refusing naps
She has on occasion refused naps before, but only a few times, and never more than once a week.
However she has now refused 3 naps this week so far!!! She tells me "no nap" and screams blue murder, throws her lovey across the landing (as she knows I will fetch it cos she can't sleep without it) and repeatedly ask for more cuddles. This will go on until I bring her downstairs... today it was an hour of refusal.
I am certain she needs a nap because in the afternoon she will become ridiculously OT and grumpy, and start to fall asleep around 4/5pm!
I don't think it is her molars bothering her. She sleeps all night still, although atm she is waking a lot as she has a bad cough. This started before the cough tho!!
Her schedule:
7.30am - up
12.00 - down for nap, usually asleep 12.30
2.00 - I wake her
6.50/7 - down for bed, stories etc
7.15/7.30 - asleep
on nursery days she goes down between 12.30 - 1. That's 2 days a week.
Any ideas on what to do?
