So DD1 is 3 is January and she has made the transition to a BGB wonderfully. So wonderfully that she has never even gotten out of it on her own and waits for us to get her in the morning. If we don't get her she will yell for someone to come and get her. I'm positive she thinks that she has to stay there until someone comes to get her more than her wanting someone to come get her. Can't say how glad I am that she stays put. However, and I can't believe I'm writing this, I need/want her to get out of bed on her own in the morning. Often I am feeding DD2 or putting DD2 to sleep when she wants to get out of bed. Also, DD1 wants nothing but cuddles for about 5 minutes when she gets up in the morning and gets rather put out if I'm busy with DD2 when I go get her. So I'm thinking it would help if she just got herself up in the morning. Is this a rational thought? I am sleep deprived at the moment with night feedings and so maybe I'm thinking I want something that could back fire on me? And if I did attempt to do this what's the best way to do it?
