Extra sleepy day
« on: December 13, 2011, 15:19:19 pm »
I know we're not supposed to let them nap past 2 hrs, but if it's an extra sleepy day, how much do you fight your LO to stay awake? I just fed Aud as she has been asleep 2hrs and 3hrs since her last feed - she took an ok feed but is pretty determined to go straight back to sleep...

Wait! We're not supposed to let them sleep past 2 hrs?  I missed that memo.  :-\ Why?  DD took a 3hr nap today right after I fed her.

Sounds like a GS Anna, I always let Z sleep but then he wasn't usually a sleepy boy during the day usually IYKWIM. If its out of character I would leave her to sleep. If she generally feeds well then she won't starve  ;)

Anna - I let Lewis sleep as long as he wanted in the day and he still slept all night.  If he'd started waking up hungry at night I would of started limiting his day sleep to get more feeds in but he didn't.
