First trial of goats milk
« on: December 21, 2011, 13:48:32 pm »
Ds2 is mpi and has been dairy free since about 3 months old, he's just over 1 year now and I'm looking to wean him off the neocate and onto something else. Looks like I have 2 choices, cOconut milk or oat milk ( too much gluten gves him nw so. Have kept clear of oat milk). We trialed him on butter a few mOnths ago with no issues at all and he's had coconut milk with no issues a few times as well. Whilst shopping this week I got some goats milk just to see what happens and if he's outgrown his mpi. He had a few oz in his morning bottle and has been fine just ever so slight mucus in his poo- my question is - is that normal?? Should I expect a bit of mucus in his poo while he adjusts or shOuod I back off and go back to trialling with coconut milk instead? Advice please!
