Pain, after 13months BFing.

My DD now has 6 teeth. I've always thought her latch was shallow but never was a problem. I've never had sore nipples or any problem that brought pain.

Now that her front set of teeth are in, it feels like there is chaffing/friction. I've had a couple of really sore cuts which have healed. I've weaned all but the BT feed. However, recently she's been sick and she is BF more often for comfort. I plan to keep this feed till march -ish.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it?

Oh I have this the last few weeks since DD got her front teeth and it's so sore. I have been trying to position her a bit differently to see does it help her latch on differently and it is getting better.

How long has she had the teeth? It can take a wee while for them to work out how to latch differently.
