Hi,
It's been awhile since I've visited here, but I've got a new problem. My 10 mth old dd has just started inconsistently refusing regular feeds. She's was on a rock steady routine of feeds 7am, 11:30am, 3:30pm, 7pm - with breakfast, lunch, and dinner of solids and water. Then 1 day she refused the bedtime feed, the next day the after nap feeds, the next day was ok, then today refused the bedtime feed in favour of her thumb. I let her fall asleep and then picked her up and did a thumb nipple swap which worked - I mean, I couldn't send her to bed with nothing but a few sips of water at suppertime right?
Is this a sign to maybe eliminate a daytime feed?
I tried breast milk in a sippy the day she refused the 11:30 and 3:30 feeds, but she wouldn't take it (just wanted water and food).
She's a great eater, and a big baby. Bf's usually last approx 15 min.
Any advice or should I just let her do her own thing, taking the feeds when she wants?
