Mine is extreme but DD is 19months and has dropped her nap! It wasn't easy but was the only way to get solid nights out of her. I thought DS was low sleep needs but he still had around 1hr 15mins at that age.

Hi Amy,

I have a low sleep needs 17 month old! So no BTDT experience I'm afraid but will be interested to see what replies you get.

We've been capping her nap for a few months now at 1hr15 to avoid EWs but I'm thinking we might need to cap a bit more and/or do later BT cos she just doesn't seem to be tired when we PD any more! And we're getting NWs and EWs. I had attributed it to teething/SA but now I'm thinking that UT is prob affecting things too...

Mine sleeps for a 1.5hr nap and then does 10.5hrs at night, usually solid at night. If she needs extra sleep she tends to sleep in ie I don't allow her a longer nap.

If she is well rested now I do get some nap resistance but I am not pushing it back - I want to just allow it to shorten and fall away.

She refused her nap on Satrurday and slept 14hrs  :o :o :o, with just one 30 min OT wake up at 10pm. Yikes!!!
