seems like he isnt tired!
« on: April 16, 2012, 19:28:45 pm »
DS is 3.8yo and his sleep is quite good, apart from some growth spurts etc but this last week he doesnt seem tired at bedtime. He is in bed for 7.30 and he usually sleeps 12 hours. Im not sure if its because he has been on holiday from school nursery and isnt as tired as he normally is!

His mornings have been getting slightly earlier actually but Im not sure if thats because of the brighter mornings shining into his room and waking him?

any advice?

Hiya, my DS is the same age and seems to go through phases of being more or less tired. He goes to bed at 7.30 and used to wake between 7.30-8am but in the last few weeks he sometimes chats for a while after going to bed and is now waking between 7-7.30. I think he's just needing less sleep as he gets older. I'm keeping his bedtime at 7.30 and he has a 'magic light' (like a gro clock) that comes on at 7.30am so he doesn't get up before then. So he's always in bed for 12hours even if he doesn't sleep that long.
