how do I fix the 6am wake?

My almost 1 year old ds has been getting up very often at 6am. Its not habbit cause I'll get one or two nights without it. But he wakes and if I bring him into bed and feed he'll sleep till 715 doing an 11 hour night.

What am I doing wrong9

Might be time to cut that afternoon nap a bit more - Its likely undertired ;)

If I apop he'll go back for another hour. Apop involves bringing him into bed and feeding. Not feeding to sleep though.

Yeah, I think that's your early warning sign that you need to tweak - cap that PM nap a little earlier. Only tweak gently though, the UT is only just peeping through so 5-10min extra A time should do it. I'd cap at 45min and see if that helps - sit with it a few days and if he's still EWing, cut it to 30min.

Ok will try that soon. One more question - 11 hour nights are fine? Nothing I can do to make them 12?

11 is pretty normal at this age, you don't want them to shrink much more than that. They might lengthen if you drop some day sleep.
