I have just joined this forum after reading your books, I have been a member for 51 minutes and think that before I post anything it was only right that I come and say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! If it wasn't for your wisdom I don't know where I'd be.
A friend lent me her book when my son was about 2 weeks old, I'd never heard of The Baby Whisperer until then and I wish I had, you taught me to have respect for my baby, taught me to see him as a person and to have the confidence to expect other people to do the same.
As a new mother so many people give you advice "let him cry, he'll learn" "you should be noisy when he's asleep he needs to sleep through noise" "keep him awake or he won't sleep tonight" etc etc. I hear it all the time still and I just smile, I am so proud that my son does not cry it out, he sleeps in peace like my husband and I do, he sleeps through the night (chucking in a few early wakes at the moment actually - I'm headed to the Wake to Sleep page after this) and that's thanks to you.
Without you, Tracy, I'm pretty sure I'd still be the floundering mess I was in those first couple of weeks, we have our ups and downs and little man is constantly changing the rules bless him, but now I have the tools to look at a situation and work out the problems etc - and if I can't, I dive back into a book and there you are to save us ha!
Seriously, you changed my life. You. Are. An. Angel.
