What's in the bottle? If it's milk I would stop it, change the routine so she has milk before bed then do stories etc and clean teeth then put her to bed without the bottle.

You will have a few difficult nights because breaking props with a toddler is never easy but I feel cold turkey is the best way. If it is milk in the bottle it will cause problems for her teeth if she is drinking it during the night and she doesn't need it for calories or nutrition at this age.

How is her routine in the day - does she still nap? Does she go for her nap with a bottle?

Thanks naps with a bottle of milk also, she's just gone there without bottle but it took 1.5 hrs all well and good during the day but tonight it's going to be hard, dh will always give in.

You will need to decide with DH what your plan is - it's not fair to her to put her through upset and crying (and there will be some) to then give in and have to start again. The trouble with toddlers is that they have long memories and short tempers! Remember too that when you are trying to change things she is getting mad because you are changing things for her but if you can be consistent then it should only take a couple of days.

When ever we did any sleep training we used a set sleepy phrase - something like "it's ok, it's just time to sleep" and said it over and over so they are getting reassurance from your voice.

You could offer her water from a sippy cup in case she is thirsty but I wouldn't offer milk or a bottle.

Good luck!
