Hi,
I've been watching the other thread on this topic and now I'm just more confused. Figured I would post my own situation and ask for help...
My LO is 13 mo old. He has never been a very good sleeper but thanks to BW I have him on a semi regular routine. That was until he decided he wants to drop the monring nap and stay up for 4.5-5 hours...Ugh...
His routine is as such (on a good day in a perfect world)
W:6:20
A:
S:11:30 (sometimes he won't go down until after 12)
W1:30
A
BT routine and in bed by 7:15
He won't go down any earlier than 7ish. He will fight me terribly.
we have been in the UT/OT loop so yesterday I gave him a 25 minute CN from 10 - 10:25 then he wouldn't go down for his afternoon nap until 2 and slept until 3:30. BT was 7:30.
NW all night long. Took me anywhere from 40-1 hour to resettle and eventually had to sit with him in rocking chair to get him to settle.
I imagine he is OT but with the extra nap yesterday I would have thought he would have slept better.
I really REALLY need some advice on how to tweak this. When I put him down for bed, I can put him into his crib awake and he will settle himself and put himself to bed. But never when he wakes in the middle of the night...
Other info - he is at daycare 3 days a week and usually sleep 2 hours there and most times on those days he STTN or only has one brief NW.
