8.5 months & short first A
« on: October 04, 2012, 15:10:39 pm »
Hi there, we are really just starting out with EASY but my daughter is doing very well. She goes down within 10 minutes for naps and night time currently. My only issue is that she is always yawning/rubbing her eyes and getting cranky/trying to nurse about 1:45-2:00 after wake up in the mornings. The last 2 days I have been able to push her to 2:30-2:45 but she is pretty miserable. This morning in particular she was just angry at about 1:45 so I went ahead and put her down, I'll see what kind of nap we get. Is this pretty normal? Her other A times are closer to 3 hours for the afternoon and then 3-3:30 before bedtimes. Thanks :)

ETA: Got a 45minute nap :( So I guess she was undertired?

SOme LOs just like a short first A time, I wouldnt worry if its working for her and you. I would try to keep that A no less than 2 hrs though, and maybe work towards a 2,3,4 routine.
What is her PM nap length like and how are her nights?
