18 month old waking multiple times during night

Hi I've literally just signed up for this site because Im in desperate need of help...
I have an 18 month old son, he stays with my mother during the day, Monday to Thursday as i go to college... He has 1 half hour to an hour sleep at about 11 am every morning, he has a solid bed time routine and i put him to bed alone at 7-7:30pm every night. He falls asleep alone with no hassle but then the trouble begins.
He wakes up multiple times a night and will not settle unless he's in my bed I don't understand it as he used to sleep all night in his cot, but those days seem a distant memory now as i am quite young i still live with my parents which means letting him cry it out is completely out of the question...can someone please help me or offer some advice, it would be very much appreciated.... BW is against any form of CIO so you have come to the right place

I would think he is pretty OT as he is napping early in the day and not for very long and then has a long stretch to bedtime. Ideally you would push the nap out to more like 12pm and hope for a longer nap but if not do an earlier bedtime.
What time does he wake in the morning?

usually about 7am or sometimes even 8am, when he wakes up during the night he still seems half asleep but is determined to get into bed with me... i love the cuddle but i think its best for the two of us if i stop this happening  x
