he also chronically wakes early at 5:15, awake until 5:45, then sleep until 6:30-7am every morning...
This is a routine issue - he is OT when he goes to bed at night as he is refusing the PM nap
Just had a peek at your routine... if he does a 4 hr A time in the morning and then naps almost 2 hrs, he is gonna need a good 4 hrs of A time before he will nap again... I would be tempted to wake him at 1.5 hrs in the AM to see if that makes him tired enough for a good PM nap. It could also stop that early morning restlessness.
As for the milk feeds - his total ounces are fine... at this age my DD was a bit odd too... she still had 4 bottles, but they were smaller than they had been just before we started solids...
This was us at this age:
6am - 6 ozs
730/8am - solids
930-11am nap #1
12noon - 6 ozs and solids (she would take solids right after her bottle no problem, funny enough, wouldn't at breakfast though), but you could do his bottle right after nap and then solids at 12/1230pm
230-4pm nap #2
5pm - 6 ozs and dinner solids (same deal as lunch), but you could do his bottle right at 4pm then solids at 5/530pm.
745pm - 8.5 ozs and BT.
We had no DF and she STTN. My daughter has low sleep needs though and only had a total of 13 hrs sleep at this age
You will find that most babies can go longer than 4 hrs between milk feeds as the solids will see them through
Hope this helps.
