Regarding dream feed
« on: November 16, 2012, 01:25:53 am »
My LO usually wakes up around 9 or 10 after going down at 7. This is our first night with dream feed and implementing EASY. If he wakes up at 9 or 10 or ev en 1039 do I still do the dream feed at 11 or will that be detrimental to his night sleep? He is in a horrible habit of waking every 2 or so hours for no reason (habitual, not hunger). Thanks!

My understanding is the DF is done sometime between 10 and 11 - personally I do it whenever I'm heading to bed so sometimes closer to 10 and other times closer to 11. My (10 wo) LO has occasionally woken up herself around 9, when that happens I feed her then (assuming she's hungry) and if I can manage to stay up until 11 I'll attempt a DF then (which she may or may not take) - otherwise I just resign myself to the fact that we will probably be waking up again sooner than I'd like! If your LO wakes up closer to 10 I wouldn't do a DF at all. Good luck!
