« on: December 24, 2012, 00:08:01 am »
sigh, its never ending, here we go again.  we have had a few good weeks, and now the ew's have started again.

here is what my DS's day has looked like for the past couple of days.

wake up (ew)- 5:45 (i leave him in his cot until 6:30ish)
nap 1: 9:30 - 11 (used to be closer to 10:30 when he was waking at 7am)
nap:2: 2:45-3:30
bt: i try for 6:45, but he doesnt fall asleep until 7:15/7:30

How old is he now? I wonder if it's time to push to 1 nap. My DD was waking just before 6am every morning at 5.47 on.the.dot, putting her onto 1 nap sorted that out!

You need to get him to bed earlier and then when he is napping well and having good nights you push the day out slowly and hopefully the EWs will get later.

That first A time is quite short really, so maybe pushing the first nap out and having a long nap and then a cat nap may be a better option - either way he needs to be doing more than 3.5 hours A time to get to 1 nap. Have a look at this link and see if there is a routine that would fit you Chronological EASY samples, 13+ months.

thank you.
i tried to put him to sleep again at 6:20 last night, but he just tossed and turned in his crib for an hour.  do you think he might be UT?

What time did he wake up, what time was his nap and how long did he sleep for? If it took an hour to fall asleep he could have been UT - could have been OT too!
