LO shows tired signs at 50 min A time...too early to put down??
« on: January 25, 2013, 14:07:58 pm »
Hi,

I'm a bit confused sometimes...my LO sometimes shows tired signs (yawning, rubbing eyes, and watery eyes) at 50-60min sometimes.  I try to extended it by 10 min, but she keep yawning. So i put her in crib, but then she is talking to herself and cooing after 20-30 minutes and sometimes even 40 minutes, then she falls asleep.

Do i put her in the crib too early, even though she looks tired??? is she bored??

I forgot to add in that she is still doing 45 min naps 4x a day. i'm worried if i keep her up longer then she will have a hard time to settle.  i've tried this with 1hr 20min put down...still takes a while to fall alseep but cries for about 10 min or so.

I'd try changing scene/activity - she can't be THAT tired because as you say she's not going straight to sleep and gives you a short nap
