I gave my boy his last feed yesterday morning.

Didn't offer it today and he wasn't bothered about it at all, so I guess that's that. Mostly I am fairly happy about it - it did feel like the time had come, and he has been losing interest for a while, so it has mainly been for my benefit over the last couple of months - but I do feel a bit sad too. I fell pregnant with dd1 7 years ago, and in that time I have been pregnant or breastfeeding the whole time, so it really is the end of an era.

I am ready to be done with the whole baby/toddler thing, and I so looking forward to when they are all as old and rational as m, but I have loved the last 7 years so much it is a little hard to let go.
Anyway, I just wanted to share and say a quick thank you to the ladies here who have helped me out on many occasions. It has been much easier to carry on feeding for as long as I have with the support of other mums doing the same thing - none of my friends has fed for as long, and I don't think any of them really gets it.
