It sounds like he was in a light sleep phase when you stirred him. How long had he been asleep when you tried the w2s? Sometimes you have to play around with the timing.

Good news that he is going up to 4hrs at night. Things should only improve on that front as he gets older.

Hello again!
So Myles is now almost 3 months old!  I must have jinxed myself because he STILL eats every 2 hours!  I cannot get him off this cycle.  To be honest, I've kind of just given up.  He is a happy baby and sleeping anywhere from 4-6 hour stretches at night.
But he still wakes after about 45 minutes of sleeping and wants to eat.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
Monica

Do you mean for naps or after BT or both? What is his EASY now?

Hello again!
So Myles is now 10 days short of 3 months.  I must have jinxed myself because he's STILL eating every two hours.
I have tried to add putting him on the second breast and it doesn't seem to matter.  I'm giving him 1 hr and 15 minutes of A time and he only sleeps for 45 minutes.
Honestly, I have sort of given it up, assuming it's a phase that he'll pass through.  I have organized it so I can pump every two hours at work for the first few weeks, up to a month.  Hopefully by then he'll be bigger and eat less.
Any thoughts?
Thanks a lot!
Monica

I'd you ever try wake to sleep?

I expect he will extend his feeds over the next month as his A times extend yes. My DS1 was eating every 2hrs or so when I discovered BW at 3.5mo but he was in 4hrly feeds by 4.5mo when I managed text end his naps from 45 mins using wake to sleep. Plus he was awake 2hrs by then so even a 45 min nap meant he could go 3hrs by 4mo before I extended the naps.
