Easy and how it works

Hi

My baby is 6 weeks old and I am trying to follow the easy plan. At 6 weeks Tracey suggests the 2am feed could go. But how do I do this if my LO will not take any more during the day? He is formula fed?

My LO is 6 weeks old n we r trying to follow this plan. What should I do if he wakes from a nap / night waking 1 hr or less before his next feed / wake up?

Do I feed him? I try the sh pat and it is taking so long, I don't know what to do.

Also when should I time the next 3 hr feed? From when she was fed, or when he should have fed?

I am by no means an expert on the subject seeing as I only started easy with my son a little over 8 weeks ago, when he was 7 weeks old, but I fed him when he woke up "early".  At that age the rooting reflex should still be present so if you're unsure whether she's hungry or not, you could always check that.  In my opinion, again this is what I have been doing, the next 3h block should start after you've fed her rather than after the time at which she was supposed to be fed.

I merged your two posts, hope you don't mind.

^^^I agree with pp. At this age you don't need to be too rigid and you can feed a bit earlier. Your EASY might look like this: EASAEAS and that's ok.
Re the NF it's still normal for a baby to feed 2-3 times a night at this age, so if your LO is doing THAT then you are still ok, I would say he is too young to worry about dropping a NF.
