When did your LO change their mantra cry?
« on: April 05, 2013, 14:26:10 pm »
Hello,

Not sure this should be here or on EASY board, or naps?

I feel that 8 week old dd2 is changing her mantra cry a bit - I have read recognizing your babies cries (about 100 times), but I seem to remember reading in the books or on the boards with dd1 that mantra changes or can change at some point - curious if that's what's happening here, or if we are having some other regression - the trouble is mid-nap settling... TIA

I don't think there's any defined age at which mantra cries change in a particular way, though many people do notice differences as LO gets older/louder/more vocal!

Are you having help with the naps elsewhere?

Thanks. No not yet. Dd2 is getting over a cold and has been sleeping in her bouncy seat. When the congestion clears up, I'll be helping her relearn to sleep lying flat which she has never cared for much - I'm sure I'll be posting then. I think now the congestion and general ick is working against me more than anything, although I think she's probably ready for a bump in A when she's back to herself health wise.
