Morning Nap Time
« on: April 10, 2013, 11:09:22 am »
Hi! I've started the transition from 3 to 4 hour easy and the feeds have been going well just that I'm struggling with nap times! For example this morning DD was fed at 7.15am but then fell asleep at 9am as she always does but only till 9.30! She only has short naps! She then played till her nect feed at 11 ish but as she'd been awake since 9.30 fell back asleep at 11.30 only to wake again at 12. I've now got 3 hours till her next feed so everything is a bit back to front as she's going to have activity time now till 3. I can't make her stay awake longer as her cues are that she's tired. To be honest she sleeps from 7.30 pm till 7am so does it matter if not having issues at night?

Thanks!

Hi there,
During the transition to a 4 hr easy things can get a little muddled. Also if LO short naps sometimes easy will look more like EASAES. Just make sure your not feedingto sleep and it doesn't really matter when she E ;)

I you get a short nap try pulling the next A forward 15 mins or so to prevent OT.

What happens at 30 mins? - does she wake crying or happy?
Any discomfort?
