morning nap--6month old
« on: April 05, 2013, 18:00:54 pm »
my LO just turned 6 months

i am still having a hard time getting her to nap longer in the morning. she really fights it.

currently she does...35min morning nap, 1.5 hr pm nap, and depends on the time but another 35min catnap...which i'm trying to take away if she would sleep longer in the morning.

here is her EASY

6:45am- wake
e- 730
a- 2hr 30min...she was moaning and yawned
s-915-950

9:50 wake---i leave her in crib to resettle for 30min....she cries..but not that hard...i'm confused here...OT or UT?? so i get her up
e-11
a-3 hrs,  sometimes earlier
s-12:50-2:20

2:20 awake
e-3pm
a-2hr 40min
s-5-5;40

what do i do with the morning nap??

Hi there,
At this age you are looking at about 2.5-3 hours A time so I would probably push that first A time a touch and see if it helps. 35 min naps are often UT. Sometimes lo's can be unreliable with their tired signs at this age so it might help to go by the clock for a few days and see. I would push the am A time too 2.40/45 for at least 3-4 days and see what happens.
What do you think?
